1. A Christmas Carol from the Middle Ages(476-1453)
2. Carol Refers to the 12 Days Between Christmas Day and Eiphany
3. Each of the “days” represents some aspect of the Christian Faith that was important for children to learn.
4. Many have questioned the historical accuracy of its origin.
5. When all is said and done, historical accuracy is not really the point.
6. More important is that Christians can celebrate their rich heritage, and God’s grace, through one more avenue this Christmas.
7. In one more way of the grace of God working in transforming ways in their lives and in our world.

歌詞說明:

涵義

這首歌的由來，則是起源於16世紀，教會人士為了要傳頌教義而不被當權者壓迫(1558-1829年天主教被禁止)，才寫了這首歌，事實上是12個涵意。
